Welsh are un, dau, tri, pedwar, pump, chwech, saith, wyth, naw, deg. The ones John gave are often cited as folk reminiscences of Cumbrian (a sort of midland Welsh, from the Cumbrian region of England, from the days when Welsh was spoken clear up into the Strathclyde). You can see some clear relation between the Welsh and Cumbrian; though the ravages of English dominance are telling.
