obscure material

I've heard tell of a specialty bookshop in Boston (?) that sells books on
virtually any language, and makes sure to keep stock of even very obscure
ones. I don't remember where or when I heard this, even after a thoro online
search, so as a quasi-last resort, I'm putting my question on this list, to
see if anyone knows what I'm talking about.

Or maybe it's one of those things that, even if it doesn't exist, it really
ought to.
