Thanks, I guess. :-) The Five-Fingered Ones were traditional enemies
of the Faithful Ones, and for that reason, malignant spirits are often
portrayed as having five fingers. When Humans were first encountered,
many superstitious People of the Faith feared them. But now Humans are
(mostly) accepted.
