You can ask the listserv how many headers to preserve, that might have
something to do with it? Not sure. Anyway, I receive mails from this
list with full headers, because I specifically asked for it. In the
subscription-webpage,

it's either the option FULLHDR or the option IETFHDR.
And on my machine, my previous message consisted of 78 lines, 26 of them
content, the rest was headers; among them 8 'Received:'-blocks and quite
a few inserted by the virus-scanner running on the server for incoming
mail. PING! That might be it, the number of Received-lines will vary
from recipient to recipient, and the size TO the list will also be
different from FROM the list.
