There are many varieties of Taoism (philosophical, mystical,
religious/popular, shamanistic, devotional, and "contemporary/scientific" as
well as the _Gung Chi_ and _Gung Fu_ schools... even a Southern Californian
surfer version - hence the popularity of the Tai-Chi symbol which they call
the Yin-Yang... and in England there is an occult movement/school of thought
called Chaos Magik that is somewhat influenced by certain mystical forms of
popular Taoism).
I fall in the grey area between "contemporary/scientific" and _Gung Fu_
Taoism and I am sympathetic to the California Surfer Taoism and the Chaos
Magik varieties as well.

brilliant person begins something great, they must look foolish to the
crowd."
