OFF: "It's French!"

One of my favorite lines from the cartoon "The Tick" is where the Tick
is going undercover, and someone asks him his name... "Nick!" he says.
He was prepared for that.  They ask him his last name, and he hems and
haws and comes up with ..."uh, Nick Soapdish... It's French."

"Really," his interlocutor replies.  "Sounds more MADE UP to me."

Of course, in a conlanging environment, "made up" isn't necessarily an
insult. :)
