Sure. Can you give me a .zip (or .tar.gz or .sit or .rar, whatever) of
your website?

Yeah, he's at least partially just wrong. He doesn't recognize php.

There are some .htaccess based tricks one can do but I wouldn't
recommend you even learn of such dark magics.

FWIW, my sense is that he's more hacker-wannabe / goth scriptkiddie,
but it's hard to tell sometimes. *shrug*

I don't know his technical skills, but design wise he's no better than you.
