Hey, you may even be able to ask SLO's student-body group thingy to
give you money to come. I know the ASUC was willing to give me half my
projected costs (for "personal professional development") for me to
attend a 'con last year and do a conlangs seminar - too bad 50% was
still out of my price range though. :-/ But still, worth asking.

Dunno when your midterms are wrt ours, but I'd hope they're not cruel
enough to be on weekends - and I'm almost certain to hold it on a
Saturday or Sunday if possible, given that everyone will be working
around Real Life schedules after all.
