English has (had - most people I meet don't know what it means) score, which
is also twenty.
Lincoln's Gettysburg address say "four score and " which is 80 +.
Supposedly this comes from old norse for mark or tally?

French is somewhat pre-disposed to a base 20: 85 is said quatre-vingt-cinq
/katr@vE~sE~k/, i.e. four-twenty-five.
