How could I forget Esa-Pekka Salonen's "floof" for soprano and five players,
lyrics from the Cyberiad by Stanislav Lem. Translated from Polish by Michael
Kandel:

ah ih oh
ah - ah - ah
phlophlophlophlo
rhorhorho
momomomo
phlogisticosh phlogisticosh phlogisticosh
ah
rhomotriglyph
ah
phlogisticoshrhomotriglyph
ah ah ah
floof!

pev't o ' tay

confre an' ayor ots,
bither de furloss bochre blee!
blee!

a-e-a-e-a-e-a-e-a-ha
a-ha-he-hu-ha-hy-ha-hi-ho-he-hu-ha
mockles
fent on silpen tree
...(continues in some sort of english with heavy math vocabulary.)

It's quite atonal, and some of the stuff the soprano sings really must
torture her speech apparatus.
