Get XAMPP from apachefriends.org (I think was the URL) and
install it on your computer. You may need to play a little
with the configuration files of Apache and MySQL, but it's
not *that* hard to get it running. Danger: when running a
server while online, of course people can access to your
$DOCUMENT_ROOT folder! You may want to disable access from
outside by restricting the $DOCUMENT_ROOT folder (e.g.
C:\server\apache\htdocs) to 127.0.0.1 (loop-back address,
i.e. your very own computer). Have a look into the
configuration file of Apache for that.
