Either because he thought I was an imbecile for not knowing what a croque
monsieur is, or because he didn't appreciate my Rivethead's Finest
dress...
But, my sister had a similar thing happen in the south of France. She
asked someone at the tourist office how to get to Jausiers (I think that's
the name of the place) near Vers, and the bloke called her an
imbecile...however, my sister speaks French perfectly...
