You lost me. How would you Romanize the Syriac word?
Here's the only other Syriac contributions I have at the moment:
kelaba [Arabic <i>kalb</i>, Hebrew <i>keleb</i>, Syriac <i>kleb</i>,
Tigrigna <i>k?lbi</i>.] dog
semase [Hebrew <i>shemesh</i>, Syriac <i>shmesh</i>.] sun
