Thanks for the clarifications on YAEPT and ANADEW. Not new phenomena here,
but newly named to my knowledge.

I'd guessed it might have been, but didn't like to guess in public :) Re: x-pondia -- I have no problem with the pond, that's self-evident. It's the specific coinage itself which fascinates. Maybe I should investigate.... Hm, first use here seems to have been on 19-07-99, by Fabian: # Interesting. In Rightpondia, it's a boink, in Leftpondia, it's a con. # Is this difference Pondian, or am I reading too much into it? I should have been around here then, but maybe I was nomail. I often am (and will be again soon, albeit only for a week or so). Curiously, after that thread the expression didn't reappear on Conlang for 18 months, but is now common.

Nope... (although I was already aware of Maggel of course)

This is starting to sound like Mornington Crescent. Or Namyuan. James -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- James Campbell james@zolid.com www.zolid.com Boring, but a cool boring. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
