I like to keep it simple. Though I guess Ayeri's phonology
is a bit too stable with just /A a: E e: I i O o U u m n N p
b t d k g v s h r l j/, however I don't see any need to have
some nifty sound changes or at least massive allophony.

This Hindi recording I have is quite nice actually. French
exaggerates a little bit sometimes, but it sounds fine to me
in Hindi. Other than that, Ayeri's phonology appeals very
much to my sense of aesthetics.

I'm biased towards IE, since the only languages I can speak
are German, English and French. But I don't really see why
that should be a problem. The only problem I have with my
morphology is that it's maybe a little bit too regular in
most places, though there have crept in some unplanned
ideosyncracies (see the "weird verbs" thread) only by using
the langauge.

No, I just wanted to make A. sound reminiscent of SEA langs.
It has grown a bit into another undefined direction, but
other than that I didn't have any 'design goals' like
Henrik. I just wanted it to sound consistent, so not any
possible combination of sounds is a possible word.

Well, for me it's just pangalang (agt.), pangalas (pat.),
pangalena (gen.), pangalyam (ben.), pangalisa (cau./comit.),
pangaleri (inst.), but my conlang isn't related to PIE
anyway ;-)
