Sorry! I didn't give the complete picture. This also occurs
with "u" before a vowel with the possessive adjectives.
muâpa /mu'apa/
mu-ap-a
my-father-NOM.sg.
This becomes müâpa /m_w'apa/.
I am looking for a term that would cover both the palatalization and
the labialization. Thanks for the suggestions.
