They would not consider it off-topic, but I know a couple of people that
would become viceral against if the proposed IAL would be English.
(Most just would just kindly say that natural languages are just not good
inter-languages)

who has had some fun lately in auxlang-L, and think that most people
there are cool people you can have a decent discution with, but that you
will never miss a couple of flamers and suceptibilities.
(and, of course, the fun is driving at the edge of such flames)
