Why yes, yes it was ;). But, most saalangal use paper and ink now, and
they do have printing presses.

I should. It's a matter of cutting and pasting the different characters,
which is an easy task for me. But i need some saalangal vocab first (since
saalangal is supposed to sound close to indonesian/philippine, i could use
either bahasa indonesia, or tagalog for some samples, just to show the
script in use.

Heh no ;). That line comes from the end of the anime "Cowboy BeBop" which
is one of the best Anime series i've seen.
