Exactly. It looks far too regular for my tastes. It must be a bear to
write all those circles. I wouldnt be surprised if some of the characters
were simplified and written with one stroke.

I am artistic by nature. I've always been good at drawing, so i'm quite
good at reproducing simple things. When i did the script, i did a variety
of different chapes, chose which ones were different enough and with
enough variety. Many are variations on other letters like pa and ka. I
just chose shapes that were pleasing to me. I think i re-did the diacritic
for /e/ about 8 times before i settled on a shape i liked (which is the
shape for the cedilla :)).
