There's someone who claims all languages came from Latvian, or at least Latvian is closest to Proto-World. My opinion on Kartvelian: it's not Nostratic, but it's probably closest to Nostratic, though it lost most of the "laryngeals" preserved in Afro-Asiatic. I'm wondering if Proto-World wasn't something more like Northwest Caucasian....
