Velar and uvular fricatives and approximants (was: 'out-' affix in conlangs?)

Very possibly my "[G]" is actually [M\] then. I
essentually use the sound I heard Icelanders
use, and indeed I can make a voiced velar
fricative that is a good deal raspier (and more
stable next to [N] and [w]) without becoming
either [g] or [R].
