Well, whatever your "long O" vowel is, whether it's /o:/ or /ow/ or
/Ow/ or /@w/ or /Ew/ or who knows what... you pronounce "Noam" (=Nome,
similar to Roam, Rome, Bone, Phone...) differently than "gnome"? How
so?
