My best suggestions, based on the staff list at their website,
(http://www.ling-phil.ox.ac.uk/people/staff/) would be
Dr Robert Vanderplank, whose homepage is at
http://www.kellogg.ox.ac.uk/fellows/vanderpr.htm.
Keep in mind that I don't actually know anyone at Oxford: I've
been at Leyden myself, where you can find courses in really
obscure languages, like Limbu. Leyden is one of the main centers
for descriptive linguistics in the world - in my biased opionion
absolutely the place to go once you have your bachelors degree.
But the library at Oxford should be all right.
