Well. I'm Roman Catholic too (confirmed) and Agnostic too and I see no
contradiction in my belief system. But I have no mystical or pantheistic
tendencies. I'm even critic on any idolatry catholics profess, like cult on
saints or images.
In my conreligion... the Hangkerim religion, there is an official version
and a popular version too. The official version tells there is no idolatry
and spirits are respected but not worshiped. Popular beheaviour do worship
spirits, tho they say they don't.
