        Used interchangably (at least in my idiolect):  sidewalk/pavement,
fender/bumper

        Brit/US difference recognized:
        trunk/boot

        not sure what you mean by fanny - doesn't it mean rear end / buttocks?

        and rubber (and fag) because they're so funny. Seen em in a zillion
comedies.
