My personal favorite: 6th symphony. I can listen to it 100 times in a row without tiring of it :-) But I love all of his symphonies, in general. (Yes, even No.1, which many despise.) And talking about Sibelius coming back, I stumbled across the following site: http://inkpot.com/classical/ There's a certain reviewer there who calls himself the Inkpot Sibelius Nutcase, and believes that Sibelius is the next music revolutionary. So yes, there seems to be an increasing number of Sibelius fans in recent years :-) Oh boy. Now we're really getting off-topic... I guess any further replies should be off-list :-) (I'm still replying to the list only because Tero hasn't responded about this yet.) T -- Why is a river rich? 'cos it has two banks.
