Well, I rather liked Anikin as a super-prodigy kid. And if he had been
obviously dark, surely Obi-Wan wouldn't've taken it into his mind to
train him as a Jedi. But, I just loved the irony WRT Anikin and Senator
Palpatine, quotes like "I hope you will bring order to the Republic" (or
something to that effect), and the expectation of Obi-Wan's that Anikin
would "bring balance to the Force".
