Leonardo Di Caprio is the representative of the Dark Side in our own
Universe. But that aside...

I thought Anakin did look a little sinister. He certainly didn't come
off as a cute and average 8 year old when he came before the Jedi
Council... But that could be because I live with an eight year old who
would have been dancing around, making noises, and giggling nervously
when addressed by Master Yoda. I thought Anakin came off as a bit of a
snot, for what my opinion is worth.
