Yes. In the Britain of Ill Bethisad, there doesn't
seem to be a (consistent) system of post codes the way
Britain has *here*. There seem to be postal regions
that each have their own system of codes, generally
consisting of the name of the region plus a number
code. This number code would correspond to a
particular postoffice in an area.

A properly addressed letter within Kemr has the
addressee, his street and number, his town, postcode
for his area of town and his province. Dûnein, due to
its large size compared to the other provinces, is
divided into diocese, or subprovinces, and each of
those into coded regions. Contrary to the usual
backwardness of the Province, its postcode system is
probably the most efficent and detailed of any area in
Britain. Large cities (like Castreleon) stand apart
from the province they're in and of course have their
own system of codes.

The address of BOAC, in Casterleon, is:

B.O.A.C. - Kemr
Piaza ill Princep Costenhin, Nr. 1.
Castreleon, 5
CBA - FK

This indicates that the BOAC offices are located in
metro Castreleon, region five. Internally, "CBA - FK"
is irrelevant, since those are the codes for "Cambria"
and "Federated Kingdoms" respectively. Someone from
Leftpondia must address a letter that way, though.

A typical address in Dûnein is:

Mr Smith lives in Glastein, region two; which in turn
is located in the Dunnow diocese, region 001 (the
central area of that diocese); which in turn is within
the Province of Dûnein.

The postal diocese of Dûnein are:

Dumx - Dumnonea
Durs - Durow
Blgx - Belgeow
Ysms - St. Martin Isles (Scilly)
Rlys - Lundy
Mesx - Metro Esca
Msds - Metro Sorbadó

The three kingdoms of the FK are:

CBA - Cambria, or Kemr
ENG - England
SCO - Scotland, or Alba

A letter sent from one kingdom to another is expedited
by adding the country code (especially if it's going
from one wee town to another); but it's not really
necessary.
