There are several methods.

First, you could introduce new phones. I never do this unless the
language is in its infancy.

Second, you could loosen the syllabic style. This would force you to
heavily revise the words you already have so that it doesn't look like
two languages smashed together.

Third, you could make longer words. This is the easiest. If you have
1,000 possible combinations (I have a language with about that), perhaps
you could add a syllable to some. I'd have a method to this; for
instance, I could absolve an initial syllable, making it go from [so] to
[sano] to draw an example from my twisted brain.
