Sounds reasonable.  Many of the old folk like to say they remember when there
were antelope in the valley.  My archeology professor, on the other hand, told
us that he has never seen a single antelope bone, hide, or carving in the
decades he has been studying the area -- not a single sign that they were ever
there.
