Well, I think most people we call creative could say that. Except for a
Leonardo da Vinci maybe (was he gay BTW? I've heard people say yes, others say
no... :)) ), most creative people have a few ideas in life and just build
around them.
It reminds me of a quote I've read a few years ago (I just can't remember who
said it): "Stupid people have one idea per month, intelligent ones one per
year. Geniuses have one or two ideas in their life".
I completely agree with the meaning of the quote: you don't measure creativity
(even less genius) according to the quantity but the quality of the ideas. I
have more then ten conlang projects ongoing, and yet I would never pretend I'm
more creative then, say, Sally Caves, who created "only" Teonaht. Quite the
contrary in fact, when I see the quality of her work compared to mine...
