I think it depends on the image you want your lang to have. Use of the hacek
can't help but make a lang look Slavic or maybe Turkic. Using x for /S/
could well give it an Iberian look, and so on. Personally, I would write (c)
for /c/, that is, the (z) in German zahlen, etc., and also favour a fairly
phonetic transcription for consonants (i.e., a preference for a single sound
to be rendered by a single letter where possible) and don't like doubled
vowels as they make the lang look too much like English, which is why I find
the Manx orthography horrible to look at!
