ANNOUNCE: Essentialist Explanations 9.0

This is an announcement of my Essentialist Explanations page, 9.0th edition.
The URL is http://mercury.ccil.org/~cowan/essential.html .
I have added almost 40 new explanations that have been piling up since
the 8.35th edition. I finally bit the bullet and started generating
the HTML rather than maintaining the page by hand, so it should be trivially
easy for me to add new EE's now: add them to the master file (a text file)
and regenerate the HTML. Experience shows that when I post announcements
like this, new entries start arriving.
There are currently 523 explanations. The format looks essentially the
same, but is now proper XHTML. In addition, the table of contents reports
the number of entries in each category, and I have split some existing
categories. The "Other Artificial Languages" category is still rather
large, and I would like suggestions about subdividing it.
I have also created a small demo page, which will work only if you have
a level 4 browser or better and a Unicode font on your system:
