[RELAY5] It's... yet another translation relay!

Patrick Dunn has volunteered to provide a text (Hatasoe, right? Or
have you started something else?) and I'll run the thing.
If you want to be in, please send me a private message (not to the
list, but to irina@valdyas.org) with "RELAY5" in the subject (this to
accommodate the filter I've just made), telling me who you are (duh),
what language you'll be doing, and any preferences you have, like
"not before the end of November" or "near the beginning, please" or
"I'd like to translate from <language>". If two people request the
same source language, it's first come first served.
I'll put up a web page with a putative order as soon as I have some
submissions.
To avoid either getting spoiled by other people's translations or
having to do all the collation work in a hurry, I'll take the first
lap.
If you want to be in twice with different languages, that's possible
unless the list becomes too large. I'd like to keep it to no more
than about thirty laps to be able to finish the relay before the end
of the year. If you do send in more than one language, please tell me
which one you want to do if there's only room for one.
I'll close the list on the first of November (that's exactly two
weeks from today). I'll try to set up a private mailing list to do
administrative stuff. *Please* don't send any relay correspondence to
the conlang list; it's got quite enough traffic already.
Irina
