Joshua said, although I erased his original message:
joshua ab va lakh jva vana.
lodi lakh ab va jva loshcha ab devesk.
chergov lakh jva brijni.
mishcha lakh rask polajna.
vradyet va lakh jva dzprech.
Well, I have no idea, but to me this looks rather much
like a sirandane (a riddle from Mauritius Island).
Here's an example:
Kat pat lao kat pat asper kat pat.
Kat pat napa vini,
kat pat alé, kat pat resté ?
- Sat lao sez asper léra.
Léra napa vini,
sat alé, sez resté.
(Quatre pattes sur quatre pattes attendent quatre
pattes.
Quatre pattes ne viennent pas, quatre pattes s'en
vont, quatre pattes restent ?
- Un chat sur une chaise attend une souris.
La souris ne vient pas,
le chat s'en va, la chaise reste.)
(Four legs on four legs expect four legs.
Four legs don't come, four legs go away, four legs
stay ?
- A cat on a chair is expecting a mouse.
The mouse doesn't come,
the cat goes away, the chair remains.)
I love that one, I picked up in 'Sirandanes', from
J.M.G. and J.Le Clézio.
