Well, actually, it's only the Cebuanos who are in Cebu
City who dislike speaking Pilipino. The Cebuanos
outside Cebu City and Cebuanos in Mindanao would love
to speak Pilipino in every possible occasion.
Whenever I go to my father's hometown in Mindanao, I
would talk in Cebuano, but people there would answer
back to me in Pilipino since they believe it's more
"cultured and sophisticated" to speak in Pilipino.
And also they wanted to practice their Tagalog on me.
