Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle - the SF Writing Beast With Two Backs.
Synergy in Writing.
Together they do produce readable fiction with a tolerable amount of
right-wing assumptions - Larry Niven produces some of the better fictional
aliens I've encountered. Consequently Footfall's probiscean hephalumps are
enjoyable, though hardly cuddly.
Tragically they seem to have evolved from circus elephants on their home
planet, which they're emigrating from, post-haste.

Mau e ki, "He aha te mea nui?"
You ask, "What is the most important thing?"
Maku e ki, "He tangata, he tangata, he tangata."
I reply, "It is people, it is people, it is people."
