Ah, another of those things. Where can I get one?
>Better than me. I'm reading the book right now, but "Namárië" is the sole
word

Essinya Erin/Gwaeriel/Tollaquë. Ma quetalye Quenya?
>What is Kemetic?
*grins and assumes holier-than-thou look* "Ancient Egyption". They called their land Kemet, therefore, many people use the word Kemetic to describe their language.
>Hehe, it came to me as a shock as well the first time I discovered
that ;)) .
>Then came the euphory (now that I think of it, this stage is still not >passed ;)))) ).
I'm so giddy about finding people who /aren't/ bored to suicide with my endless ramblings about "Hey, did you realise that the reason English's pronunciation of the plural for..."
>A non-secretive conlanger?! Yeah!!! I feel less alone suddenly! ;)))
I've never seen a reason to be secretive. Of course, that is how I got the name Notagain... "Talking about languages? Not again!" "Talking about The X- Files? Not again!" "Talking about HTML? Not again!" *takes deep breath and makes note to hide Dr. Pepper*
>Exactly the opposite order as me. Making words is such a tedious job (and >impossible to do for me if I haven't any idea how they should be
pronounced and
>what are the constraints on their shapes).
Because natural languages rarely follow their own rules about, well, everything, and my languages are naturalistic, that tends to be the last thing I work on. And even if I do it first, I usually change it halfway through...
>We want to see more!
More languages or examples of them?
>I had a PS-file about that somewhere. I could always look if I still have
it
>(although I doubt it. It was in my work computer and this one suffered two >deaths :(( , and I don't remember saving it in my home computer).
I have three sad, poor computers. Well, two computers and one very old, expensive word processor (a Tandy, made in about '90). And then my new one is the Son of HAL... eh, but I digress...
>Well, people already pointed you at the Invaluable Conlang Links. You'll
find
>the start point of everything you want to know there. And there's always
Google. *sings stupid Google song written by other geeks*
>You're welcome, and ew! ;)))
*tilts head quizzically* May I ask what these people have against my drink?
>Anyway, welcome again!
Nice to be welcomed.
>Christophe.
