I usually think of a polysynthetic language in the following informal
terms: that in such a language it's common for subject, verb *and*
object to be encoded in the same word. Whereas a merely agglutinating
language generally doesn't go that far. A better definition of the
boundary between aggutinating and polysynthetic would certainly
interest me.
