You know, this Adele Eva Goldberg's homepage:

Gives no indication of being the same person mentioned in this Adele
Goldberg bio:

Indeed, the Smalltalk Goldberg "was at PARC from 1973 to 1988 as a
laboratory and research scientist," whereas the linguist Goldberg was
then finishing her "BA in Mathematics and Philosophy, University of
Pennsylvania, Spring 1985."

Sounds like it *is* a coincidence.  Although perhaps there is some
factor mitigating the coincidence, like the two being relatives.
