Actually, Ithkuil's comparison scheme is pretty simple. It is the revised
version, Ilaksh, that will have the more complex scheme I described (as I
did not stumble across all these nuances of comparisons until about a year ago).
And to Sally Caves: Surprisingly, I actually find the way you use various
adverbials translatable as 'now', 'yet', etc. to translate all the nuances
to be quite elegant. I wouldn't have thought that the mere careful
placement of such adverbials/particles would be sufficient to disambiguate
sentences like "she is healthier" but your Teonaht examples prove otherwise.
For those sentences you weren't able to translate exactly, perhaps you
should consider simply creating a corresponding particle?
