Well, as I already said quite a few times :))) , I happen to have my webpage
hosted by Free, which is quite a good provider: it allows me to have as many
accounts as I want, each with 100Mb of space for a webpage (with an address of
the form: http://something.free.fr) and an e-mail address (of the form
something@free.fr). All this for free (like the name says), and it doesn't have
annoying pop-ups or asks you to put special commercial banners on your page.
The only difficulty is that to get all this you have to have an address in
France to first register and get your principal account. But this I already
did. So what I'm proposing (and two people are already enjoying it - well, only
one actually, since Kristian Jensen still didn't finish to write down his
webpage :)) -) is to create secondary accounts and put them at disposition of
those in need of easy webspace (dead easy, you upload your webpage with a
simple FTP client. I can do the uploading for people who for a reason or
another cannot do that). So if you need webspace, just contact me privately,
and I'll arrange you something :)) . And my fees are quite acceptable :)))
(kdding, it doesn't even cost me more than five minutes to create an account.
But if people want to pay something to me, I won't prevent them from doing
it :)) ).
Next time the question of webspace is raised, what I will do is redirect people
to this message in the Conlang archives :)) . Hey, that would be a nice thing
to put in a Conlang FAQ :)) .
Christophe.
