BTW, this goes on the list of Brit/Am grammatical differences, along
with "Susan suggested that she play/should play Ophelia" and
"The Queen are raising their rates". AmE requires "Did you /just@/?"
which is spelled "Did you used to" despite the appearance of a doubly
marked past tense.
