When on the topic of timelines and such, what about a universe with two
time-dimensions?
A language under such circumstances would be incredible!
Just think about the two-dimensional syntax & words, the numerals, the
aspects (iterative-but-only-in-one-direction,
iterative-in-several-directions...) the tenses.. (left-yesterday,
present-left, left-present, present-present...)
The day we invent interuniversal travel, I'm gonna educate myself to
linguist - and study the languages of some culture with such a language.
And about time-lines, perhaps we should do a quick poll:
"Who on this list is in *this* timeline?"
"Who on this list is only in one timeline at a time?"
"Who on this list even IS in a timeline at all?"
"Who stole my timeline?"
