OK. Since we were talking about the middle (intr) forms form the beginning,
bring up the contrast to the active (tr) forms seemed* pointless, so I was
wondering if you meant to say there was a change of voice compared to
sentences where the intransitives have sg subjects.
* For some reason, my fingers want to type "semt" ...
