That's similar to what i've always done...for some reason i only use the
word "grandma" to refer to my mother's mother, who was the only one who i
knew. I refer to all the others, who passed away before i was born, as
"my father's father". I also refer to them by their first names, like i
do with other relatives who i've never met. So for instance my
great-uncle Marvin is "Uncle Marvin", but his brother Gabriel, who i've
never met, is just "Gabriel".
