All Sardinian dialects use su, sa < ipse, ipsa as articles. The relevant
Catalan dialects use s-articles only informally; the differentiation,
when one is present at all, is
that l-articles are abstract, s-articles are concrete ('la mort' = 'Death',
'sa mort' = 'the death (of which we were speaking)').

There is a word (but I forget it) meaning "using s-articles", analogous
to the terms seseo, ceceo, yeismo, tuteo, voseo in Spanish.
