Fair enough, but I'm not sure where the wasted space would be. I
wasn't suggesting you supply 2*pi to umpteen decimals, merely that you
identify it as such.

OK, so it's a function to graph, something like |y| = pi*cos(x/r)/n.
I was a little confused because according to the usual x/y convention,
that gives you horizontal wedges, rather than the usual vertical ones.
