Heq! I know that this kinda things happen even in Ukrainian: the same word
|ssaty|, or Present tense of the verb |lyty| (to pour): |ljlju|, |ljljesh|,
|ljlje| etc. But there are definite morpheme boundaries in the
understructure, or different phonemes are realised this way: /s=s+a+t+y/,
/l'+j+u/. I need examples of _phonematic_ opposition!
But you and Wesley almost persuaded me that Initial Geminants are quite
legal!...
